Speak Life Speech Therapy

Emily is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Speak Life Speech Therapy. She received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Auburn University. Her mission is to provide families with the support and therapy techniques to effectively communicate with their children. Her goal is to make a lasting and genuine connection with children and their families to encourage active involvement and commitment throughout the therapy process. Emily has worked in public school systems and private clinics while evaluating and treating a variety of communication disorders including: speech sound production, expressive/receptive language, fluency, autism, and pragmatics. She is a trained Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) clinician and has completed the 4-day SOS Approach to Feeding training. Emily spends her free time with her husband and their dog, Norm. She enjoys a beautiful sunny day on the beach with a good book in hand. She also tries her hand at baking sourdough bread for family and friends.
